Rosalinda was wonderful

Rosalinda was wonderful. The home was perfect for us and since the weather was warm, the pool was great. Our friends got in a car accident near the home and Rosalinda was nice enough to help translate between the rental car company and the police. She was very, very helpful!

Great location overlooking the valley

Great location overlooking the valley below with a comfortable swimming pool and large, rustic apartment. Perfect getaway for our few days in Tuscany. Rosalinda goes to great lengths to make sure her guests are getting the best under the Tuscan sun!

6 wonderful nights

Our family of 6 stayed in this beautiful villa for 6 wonderful nights. It was perfectly located close to Cortona. The accommodation was spacious, clean and tidy and the view from the balcony over the valley below was breathtaking. We will highly recommend this villa.

Rosalinda was a fabulous host

Rosalinda was a fabulous host, so kind and welcoming, as were all her family. She was very helpful in assisting us to find the property as we got slightly lost on the way there. The villa was absolutely wonderful and the views of the Tuscan hills were breath taking. The neighbour is quiet, nothing really within walking distance. We walked to a restaurant on our first night after arriving late, but we got beeped a lot and the main road wasn't overly safe to walk along at night, so a car is a definite!

This is the way to see Tuscany

Four friends on this lovely relaxing holiday in Tuscany. Our first night there Rosalinda and her family made us feel so welcome, cooked a delicious meal for us, and worked out an itinerary for the week. It was so nice to sit back and watch the scenery as Rosalinda drove us each day to another interesting place in beautiful Tuscany. Without fail, she would drop us off with directions to the highlights and within minutes we would be distracted by something wonderful, wander off and get gloriously lost. And by the end of each day, we would circle our way back to our starting point and without fail again, she would be sitting there waiting for us just like she said she would be.

Excellent way to start the retirement phase!

What a lovely family running such a pretty property with excellent facilities and fabulous views over the valley. Lots of options for accommodation and a more amenable pair of host you couldn't ask for! From delicious dinners with family, their happiness in sharing local knowledge and itinerary planning and then actually driving us to all those places, supplying maps and suggestions for lunch spots they were great and always smiling. Although Nonna Lilla wins the gold in the smiling department the other were close seconds.

A perfect holiday!

La Maestà was always good to come "home" to, especially if Lilla and Rosalinda cooked dinner! And when we wanted to eat out, they had some great recommendations for good Tuscan food at reasonable prices. It wasn't swimming weather, but the pool was huge and the patio around it very spacious, perfect for when we didn't want to go anywhere but just soak up the sun and the view over the Valdichiana.
